Hello and welcome to my site!  I am clinical psychologist who specializes in treating children, adolescents, and families.  I am licensed in both North Carolina and Massachusetts.  I offer teletherapy in both states and provide in-person services in North Carolina.

I have been working with children and families for most of my career in a variety of settings.  Prior to graduate school, I supported children and families through my work in group homes, therapeutic foster care, and hotline support for parents. 

 

In graduate school I gained clinical training/experience in schools and hospitals.  I completed my last doctoral internship at a child welfare agency where I treated children and families in the inner city of Boston.  I continued to work in this agency for the next seven years.  I became very familiar with resources for children and families in Boston as I routinely traveled for meetings and therapy in client homes, schools, hospitals, group homes, foster homes, detention centers, afterschool programs, and more.  I also provided and coordinated emergency management on a regular basis.

I then built a private practice about four and a half years ago.  I use all of my clinicial experience to provide effective therapeutic treatment tailored to the needs of children and families.
